How it works
Our murder mystery parties are role playing games.
It's split into two stages, the mingle stage and the detective stage.
Guests arrive and are given their character for the evening; this begins the mingle stage. It's now the guests' job to find out as much as possible about the other characters without having their secrets spread. At this stage nobody knows who gets killed later that evening or who did it.
Gossip, blackmail, and bribes are encouraged. Most parties have in game auctions with fake money but real prizes at half time.
After everyone is settled in, the host lets someone know that they will get murdered and how they are going to die.
Then it happens! The murder victim is asked to lie down with props, and everyone finds their body at the same time. Thankfully the guest who played the murder victim becomes another character after their death; they still investigate their own murder.
This begins the detective stage; everyone is given more information about what they were doing during the murder and who else they saw. It's at this stage the murderer learns that they did it and why. It's now the murderers' job to cover their tracks.
The whole party will follow clues, do puzzles, and gossip to try to figure out who the murderer is, while also keeping their name clean. Some people will hide facts that may incriminate them or lie about things (even if they aren't the murderer).
At the end of the party everyone must vote on who they think the murderer is.
Our parties often sell out, grab a ticket now while you can!
